The following procedures and payment policy is applicable to all properties listed on Cooperstown Family Rentals. The few properties that we have that require a security deposit, the agreement will be between the owner and the guest.
Payment Policy:
Payment may be made by preferably by credit or debit card (MasterCard, Visa or Discover) or by personal check or money order).
A deposit of 50% is needed at the time of reservation to hold the property.
If payment is made by credit/debit card, it will be charged to your card immediately.
If payment is made by check, we would need $50 on a credit/debit card to hold the property and the remainder of the 50% deposit within a week.
The balance is due with 60 days of the initial payment or by May 1, whichever comes first.
Reservations made after May 1 must be paid in full at time of reservation.

Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations 60 days prior to visit or prior to May 1, whichever comes first, will receive a full refund less a cancellation charge of 10% of the total rental fee.
Cancellations less than 60 days prior to visit or after May 1, whichever comes first, will receive a refund only if the property is re-rented. In that case a refund will be made less a cancellation charge of 10% of the total rental fee.
Check In:
After 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
Please give the owner a call if you are arriving at an unusually late hour or to check if an earlier arrival is possible.
Check Out:
Before 10 a.m. on the following Friday

please let us know, we will attempt to accommodate you if at all possible. |
